Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss are Sleigh Bells – and Sleigh Bells are awesome. These are a pair of facts, use them with caution when listening to this dream crunk mess of overdriven guitar and sultry aria. The two are based out of Brooklyn and are playing only a few scattered upcoming dates – I’m guessing with the incredible reception they’re receiving from their debut album Treats they’ll be looking to capitalise with a global tour, so keeping ears out for that. For now at least, enjoy

You’re called out to a death-match set in the plane between dreams and reality where you have to defeat the devil himself with a guitar made entirely from lazers (I’m understating). And all you’re wearing is a flight cap and a cellophane g-string. That’s the feeling you get when you press play on Fuck Youth. Their twin brother release Run Overdrive is a little more reserved, you have time to gather your thoughts before the sonic onslaught – but only for a second.
